Film Trilogy  In 1970 the BBC came to Orkney to film three of George Mackay Brown's stories – A Time to Keep, The Whaler's Return and Celia – for BBC 2's ‘Play for Today' series. In addition to the fine professional cast which included Hannah Gordon, Claire Neilson and Fulton Mackay, an army of local people were recruited as extras.
